תרגום לאנגלית של קורות החיים: Shaul Shabbo Shabtai was born on 10/15/1930 in Aleppo, Syria. Was the only child of Chaim and Simcha which lived in Bab Al Nasr. His father died when he was eight years. He studied at the orphanage "Talmud Torah" in Aleppo. In 1943 he was smuggled to Israel by messengers of Youth Aliyah, through Lebanon and northern Israel leaving his mother behind ,which he never saw again . He came to Kibbutz Ayelet Ashachar and then to Kibbutz Ashdot Yaakov. Ashdot Yaakov, practiced with his preparation for military service. In 1947, at the age of seventeen occupying level training and the Palmach was drafted as part of the training "struggle", immigrant youth and of "youth worker". Server fifth battalion of the Harel Brigade. He fought in the "Nachshon" control outposts, escorted supply convoys and secured weapons from Kibbutz Hulda and Jerusalem via Abu Gosh and Shaar Hagai. The battles fought Shaar Agay, Bab el Wad breakthrough took part in Jerusalem - the Burma Road, and maintaining the pump house Sha'ar Hagai. He began working Solel Boneh. In 1959 he moved to Holon, and in 1960 began working in the education department of the city of Tel Aviv, in the school name "Roots". After thirty-five years of service retired. He has five children: Ami, Ruth, Dalia, Raphael, Sherry. Grandfather of twelve grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Shaul Shabbo Shabtai lived in Holon until  his death at Feb. 15th 2018.
