Armand was born in Metz, France, on June 3rd, 1926,
He was deported from France to Auschwitz on May 30th, 1944, with his parents, brothers anf sister. His parents and his little brother Marcel died. He was liberated on January 27th, 1945.
He immigrated to Israel in 1948 and joined the French Commando unit, the Negev Brigade, 7th Battalion.
In April 1949 he returned to France.
Armand had four children.
He was a tailor and then worked for a big Parisian library as a library agent.
He died in France on August 18th, 2009.
His story was provided by his daughter, Alexandra Alma Silberberg Ktorza on September 23rd, 2022.
