The War of Independence and the different fronts

The War of Independence of the Jewish people in the land of Eretz Israel, began the day after the UN Assembly's decision, on the 29th of November 1947, as a result of the Arabs’ objection to the decision regarding the partition of the country into an Arab state and a Jewish state.
The war was fought throughout the country - north, center and south, from the 30th of November 1947 to the last operation - Uvda in March 1949.
