Operation execution in Giv'at-Olga and Sidna-Ali

The mission at Giv'at-Olga went smoothly, while in Sidna-Ali, the raiders were spotted and the explosives were placed under fire.
Both forces, the size of a platoon, worked in a similar method in each of the locations. One force was headed by Dov Zesis, and the other was headed by Chain Zinger. Those methods were: splitting into secondary forces that blocked the access roads and covered up the advancement towards the target; breaking the fences; sneaking after dark towards the structure; placing explosives and setting the delay detonators by the saboteurs.
The mission at Giv'at-Olga went smoothly, while in Sidna-Ali, the raiders were spotted and the explosives were placed under fire. In both cases, once the forces moved away, the British were given a warning on their police line from the field telephone that an explosion was about to happen. The warning was given by strict order to the executors: Avoid casualties as much as possible, so as not to arouse a forceful British response towards Jewish settlements and warriors, or diminish the public propaganda value of the operation. And indeed, the policemen in Giv'at-Olga followed the warning instruction and managed to evacuate the facility; seven of them were injured in Sidna-Ali due to their delayed response. During their retreat, the raiders covered up their tracks and left the area with no injuries.
