The British Response to the Police Stations' Sabotage

On November 26th, in response to the sabotage of the police stations, the British conducted extensive searches in the neighboring settlements; Shefayim, Rishpon, and Giv'at Hayyim. The objective was to capture the immigrants and try to locate Palmach members and weapons. The Hagana HQ gathered a massive crowd to help the besieged settlements. Eight Jews were killed and tens of others were injured in the raging confrontations between the crowd and the British security forces.
