Palmach members contributed greatly to the formulation of the young country's Culture and Art, including Literature, Poetry, Historical Documentation, Theatre, Folklore and Entertainment, and their influence is still evident to this day. Palmach and Haganah activities are still relevant: in School Curriculums, in the folklore of the Youth Movements and the elderly population, especially in Kibbutzim and Moshavim.
