Palmach Operations in the Jerusalem Corridor.
On the night of 14th of July "A" Company from the 6th Battalion conquered Tzuba with Zivi's Company assistance. The forces had 120 millimeter mortar that could penetrate structure's walls and destroyed them. The Company Commander Lusik, led the force from the south and conquered the village without any resistance.
On the night of 14th of July a Platoon from "A" Company captured Dir Amar (today: Eitanim) and the 61st Battalion secured them.
The villages Sataf, Hirbat A-Luz and Beit-Um El-Mis were abandoned.
On the night of 13th of July 2 companies (4th Battalion and Kiryati's Brigade 43rd Battalion) led by David Elazar set out toward Kfar Uriyya. The attempt to attack by day failed and the Egyptian force succeeded to repulse it. The force tried again at night and when he entered the place it was abandoned.
On the night of 14th of July the same force conquered Zor'a.
2 soldier died in action and 1 got wounded.
